Baghdad: Bombs targeting Iraqi security forces have killed at least five people in Baghdad on Monday, police say.
Officials say the deadliest blast occurred when two bombs exploded nearly simultaneously as a police patrol passed by a bakery in a mainly Shiite area in eastern Baghdad.
They say three civilians were killed and 10 other people wounded.
Police say two other civilians have been killed and seven people wounded in separate bombs aimed at police and army patrols in central Baghdad.
The police officials spoke on Monday on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to release the information.
